The crisis hit the entire world, so everybody feels its effects. There are many unemployed people who search for a job. This is not only in the USA, but also in other well-developed countries. But what crisis could not take from us was hope. People still have hope and search for a new job, if hey lost their old jobs.
The first step when searching for a job is to have a resume. Resume helps you to structure your knowledge and education, professional experience and to better identify you. To ensure you get the job, it is good for you to build a good resume, concise and objective.
First, all data written on resume must be real, clear, correct and easy verifiable. For this, I indicate you references on request. Second, it is important to write down all relevant things about you considering your level of education, special distinguishing, past professional work experience. In this field, I advice you to be objective, to put the accent on how you helped improving the activity of the company you worked for.
You must put the accent on the qualities that you consider you hold and which recommend you for the job you want to obtain. I don’t advice you to lye about yourself, but to think well and write down only the qualities you hold. If not, at a brief examination, your lying will be found and this won’t put you into a good position. So, think twice before writing down once.
Some people write down in their resume their salary expectation. I don’t consider this to be a good thing, as those things you talk face to face with the employer at the interview, after you find more details about the job and your activity. I also not recommend to rite the salary you got in your pat jobs. This is confidential information, so you’d better keep it for yourself. Say it only if you are asked, and if this puts you in the advantage.
Don’t build a too long resume. Concentrate it into two pages; this should be enough. But if the job you apply for is in a specific field, such as university teacher, lawyers, and so on, do mention all your achievements and successes, it will be of a real help. If not, do keep your resume simple, concise, real and available to be checked and preferred to other resumes.
